My Journey

I am the resilience, confidence, and beauty of a woman who has understood and healed from a complex upbringing.


The powerlessness I endured as young girl, longing to belong, one day resurrected a power within to catapult me into a giant and advocate for women leaders to pursue greater purpose, in spite of past adversity.


My transformation journey was one connected to a hidden condition – lost nurturing. The impact was so deep that only those women who share the experience of lost nurturing, guidance or protection get it. This is where playing it too safely began for me.


Early on, my knight in shining armor was my schoolwork! I absorbed myself in my studies and excelled in the classroom.


Later, that shifted to the workplace, glowing mid and year-end reviews and all. And this was all that anyone got to see. It worked just fine for me, until it didn’t work.


My dreams and greater purpose were locked inside the cordon. Something had to change – and that something, someone, was me.


I knew that on the other side of the cordon, was me – the real me. I had to amplify her – her voice – and the voices women leaders looking for the same change.

MY MISSION

I am in pursuit to becoming a triple threat leader:

Transforming companies and advancing the corporate ladder while elevating women in leadership to do more, be more, influence more.

I aspire to gain the trust and following of scores of women leaders, everywhere, seeking winning and proven strategies to overcoming limiting thinking and constructing a plan and accountability system to elevate her influence.

Don’t Be Your Own Naysayer: What you bring to the table is

OH-SO-GOOD!

I have had the privilege of leading and working alongside brilliant women. I’ve seen what she brings to the table and it is OH so good! Yet, I am often astounded by her insecurities that surface in various subtle ways that leave me not puzzled, but empathetic – because I get it! On most days, that used to be me. I want women leaders to exude expressions of: “I did that, damnit”! and “I know it’s good!” Or “I made an error. Let me own it, fix it” versus shrinking and automatically disqualifying herself. I want women leaders to allow themselves permission to be the first to give themselves a thumbs-up (regardless) versus waiting on the validation of someone else that may never come. 

  • I’ve seen women leaders not advocate for themselves. 
  • I’ve seen women leaders pass the assignment along to someone without trying because they didn’t feel capable when they were more than qualified.
  • I’ve seen women leaders shy away from increased visibility because they didn’t feel worthy or because of fear – fear of not succeeding and fear of succeeding. 
  • I’ve seen women leaders not share their strengths with other women because of intimidation. They didn’t know that what’s for them, will always be for them.

More often or not, the reason for playing it too safely or settling, is not intentional. Rather, it’s rooted in a limiting belief system that has no place in the life of a leader who wants to do more, be more, and influence more.
